Where to find your número de soporte (Fuerteventura)

Half the online Spanish admin you will ever face suddenly demands a "número de soporte" — and almost nobody can locate it on the first try. Here is what the thing is and the precise corner of your document it is hiding in.

Hunt it down here

On a TIE card it opens with the letter E and a run of digits (something like E00000000), printed on either the front or the reverse of the card.

On the green EU certificate it shows up as the IXESP or C-number reference. Older A4 versions sometimes spell it out as "Nº de soporte" up near the top.

What you actually use it for

It is the key to proving who you are on digital services like Cl@ve, the immigration portal and a heap of regional government sites. Without it, those online procedures simply will not let you through.

Most the número de soporte requests across the Canary Islands pass through the Fuerteventura office. We know exactly what they ask for — and we accompany you, whether you live in central Fuerteventura or out in Puerto del Rosario.

Frequently asked questions

On some certificates it is the IXESP reference rather than a line labelled support number. If you still cannot spot it, send us a photo and we will point straight to it.
